Jason is a theological educator, a community-based Anglican priest and long-time resident of Parkdale. After completing his PhD at the Department for the Study of Religion in the University of Toronto, he did exactly what every proper scholar of religion says they aren’t going to do: he became a priest. His work, like his life and family, is rooted in Parkdale, where he helps lead the Jeremiah Community and serves as a “missioner” (neighbourhood priest) for the church of Epiphany & St Mark. He is an adjunct professor of theology at Trinity College at the U of T. Jason sits on the board of the Parkdale Neighbourhood Land Trust, on the steering committee of the Parkdale People’s Economy, and is a core partner in the development of the Parkdale Community Food Hub.
